Dyslexia Associations and Groups helplines through out the United Kingdom:

This sheet lists one telephone number for each Local Dyslexia Association, although some have several helplines. An answer phone may refer you to a rota duty number.  The phone and e-mail may belong to different people. Most of the helpliners are volunteers, using family phones, with limited time, so please respect the times given.

They have helpliners, befrienders and computer co-ordinators.  They hold meetings with speakers and workshops, run courses, and have literature for sale and for borrowing.  Local Dyslexia Associations know of local facilities for assessment and tuition.
